Return Policy
Growing Out The Box (growingoutthebox.com) offers a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7-days after receiving your item to request a return. Please contact us immediately at: inquiry@growingoutthebox.com if an item received is defective or unacceptable.
To be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange, your item must be in the same, new/unused condition that you received it. Return items must have original tags, original packaging, receipt, and proof of purchase.
Buyer is solely responsible for any return label and return shipping fees.
Non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please see our Live Plant Replacement and Refund Policy below.

Live Plant Replacements & Refunds:
Thank you for trusting Growing Out The Box with your live plant purchase. We and our partners are committed to shipping healthy plants and want you to be successful!
Immediate Reporting Required!
If there is a severe issue with your live plant order, you must contact us with photos of the issue within 24 hours of delivery. This allows our team to assess the plant's condition upon arrival.
Damage Assessment
We do not accept returns of live plants for any reason. Our policy focuses on replacement or refund based on the severity of the damage reported within the 24-hour window.
Expected Minor Damage: Please understand that minor damage is expected during transit and is not grounds for a replacement. This includes torn leaves, dropped leaves, and small broken tips. These issues are common and the plant will recover.
Severe Damage: In cases of severe damage (e.g., the plant is clearly non-viable or completely destroyed), it is at our sole discretion to offer a replacement or a partial/full refund.
Refund and Replacement Processing
Refunds: If a refund is approved, we will refund the approved amount to your original method of payment. Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to fully process and reflect in your account.
Replacements: If a replacement is approved, the new plant will be shipped on the next available Monday or Tuesday to ensure it spends the least amount of time in transit.
Do not attempt to return live plants to us. Once shipped, they cannot be returned due to the perishable nature of the product.
